This video demonstrates that times are changing extremely fast in regards to technology and how it is effecting technology. The video stated that the top jobs of 2010 did not exist in 2004, and that educators are currently preparing students for jobs that do not exist yet. Technology changes extremely fast; what was modern today will be outdated by tomorrow. Our society is constantly being shaped by technology around it: jobs, relationships, information, and shopping can all be found online. Users of the internet are being quickly introduced to new products, when old market penetration for items such as radio took years to penetrate the market and reach viewers. In teaching students, teachers need to be aware of the change in technology and be able to adapt to it, and utilize it within the classroom. Teachers should be aware of their role in the future of technology, as well as the future of teaching students and preparing them for jobs which may or may not exist yet.
